  • Arrive in Addis Ababa. Afternoon city tour including the National Museum and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Welcome dinner at a traditional restaurant.

  • Drive to Arba Minch, stopping at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tiya with its mysterious stelae. Overnight in Arba Minch.

  • Morning boat trip on Lake Chamo. Drive to Jinka, visiting the UNESCO-listed Konso village on the way. Overnight in Jinka.

  • Excursion to a Mursi village in Mago National Park. Afternoon drive to Turmi, the heart of the Hamar people. Overnight in Turmi.

  • Visit the Dassanech tribe near the Omo River. In the afternoon, visit a Hamar village. Overnight in Turmi.

  • Visit the vibrant Key Afer market (if Thursday). Drive back to Arba Minch. Overnight in Arba Minch.

  • Drive back to Addis Ababa, stopping at Lake Ziway for bird watching. Transfer to airport for departure.
